FAQ’s

Are my sessions confidential?

Your privacy is a priority. All sessions are fully confidential and conducted on a HIPAA-compliant platform. We'll discuss confidentiality in detail during our first session together.

Do you offer online or in-person sessions?

I currently offer online therapy sessions via telehealth. If there’s enough interest, I’m open to providing in-person sessions in the future.

Do I really need therapy?

Not sure yet? That's perfectly okay. Fill out the contact form, and let's schedule a free 30-minute consultation. We can discuss how I can help or, if needed, find the right professional for you. Whatever we decide, your needs and preferences will always be my priority.

What can I expect from the free consultation?

This is our chance to chat and determine if we’re a good match for each other. Counseling is a personal journey, and it’s crucial for both of us to feel comfortable working together. If we find that we’re a good fit, we can proceed and schedule a session to delve deeper into your needs and goals.

How long is each session?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. This means you'll be in session for at least 50 minutes, with the remaining 10 minutes used for progress notes, updating treatment plans, and any other necessary paperwork.

How frequently will my sessions be scheduled?

The frequency of our sessions is up to you. In our first meeting, I’ll offer a recommendation based on your needs, but your comfort and preferences are key. Typically, I suggest weekly or bi-weekly sessions to start, adjusting as we go. Therapy is personalized, and I’m flexible in working with your time and financial considerations. Together, we’ll create a plan that supports your goals.

I am concerned about money, how much will therapy cost?

If cost is a concern, let’s work together to find a treatment plan that supports your mental health without straining your budget. Sessions are $180 without insurance, but I also offer a sliding scale for those who qualify, which we can discuss before scheduling. Just fill out the appointment request form, and we’ll explore the best options for you. My goal is to provide exceptional care and support as we work toward your goals, with full transparency on pricing from the start.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I currently accept Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Colorado Access, and Medicaid.

How soon can I schedule my first session?

A free consultation can usually be scheduled within the same week. Once you decide to move forward, I can typically have your first session booked within one to two weeks.

What qualifications and credentials do you have that make you suitable for providing the support I need?

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, I’m equipped to provide exceptional support. I also hold National Certified Credentials, having passed the National Exam for Counselors. My qualifications are further enhanced by certifications in EMDR, Art Therapy, and other specialized areas, ensuring I have the skills to effectively guide you on your therapeutic journey.
